UNDERSTANDING POWER GENERATION AT 'MUELA HYDROPOWER STATION IN VIEW OF LOAD SHEDDING

The Government of Lesotho is considering expansion of the ‘Muela Hydropower Station (MHS) as a matter of urgency. This is according to the Minister of Natural Resources, the Honourable Monyane Moleleki in an interview, following a meeting with his South African counterpart, held at Mohale Operations Building in July, 2008. The expansion is but one of several power generation initiatives aimed at addressing the current problem of load shedding. (Read more)
