The LHDA Chief Executive, Mr. Liphapang Potloane, issued out a memo on 14 June, 2005 informing all Staff to take part in the national celebration of Public Service Day.

The objective was to demonstrate oneness. The Principal Secretary Mr. Bataung Leleka championed the assignment. He, however, delegated the organisation of Exhibition part of the exercise to the Director of Energy, Mr. Phuroe, who did an excellent job with much support from the rest of team members.

The MNR group were fortunate to get a suitable space where they were able to exhibit their wares close to one another. It was therefore easier for all visiting guests to have a full view of the MNR activities at a go.

There were pictures of schools where the Project has made a contribution in the Education sector, through upgrading school classrooms, providing staffrooms and book-stores, ablution facilities for the staff and pupils.

In matters of habitat, the project showcased the improved housing conditions for those displaced by the implementation of various activities of the LHWP.

A very large potato warehouse is built at Ha Mohale where farmers congregate their potao seed for ultimate selling to customers. This was also depicted.

It is through the Project that farmers are begining to enjoy a ready market to sell their corn to the LHDA for use in  compensating the affected people with home grown products.
